Thorn Construction is proud to have successfully completed the latest Bennetts Coaches project, delivering a high-quality, functional space tailored to the needs of their growing fleet. Our team worked closely with Bennetts Coaches to ensure the facility meets their operational demands, incorporating sustainable building practices and modern design elements. The project was completed on time and within budget, reinforcing our commitment to excellence and client satisfaction.

Bennetts Coaches

This ambitious £1.4 million project at The Triangle, Metz Way, Gloucester is a purpose-built coach park, featuring a full office fit-out, dedicated repair and maintenance bays, and ample parking space, highlights Bennetts Coaches’ commitment to investing in their long-term future. The project showcases our ability to deliver complex, large-scale developments that meet the specific needs of our clients, reinforcing our dedication to quality and excellence in construction.

Industrial unit – Injection Mouldings

This steel frame state of the art new build factory in Cheltenham took 4 months to build from design through to completion. Project: High-spec industrial unit Size: 600 m² Tonnage: 22 T Location: Staverton, Gloucestershire Year: 2014 Structural design, project managing manufacture and installation of steel frame and cladding and all internal works. Private Construction Projects

Staverton Industrial Units, Cheltenham

Five commercial industrial units were built for our client, on a plot of land on the Staverton Connection site. Steel framework with half brick-clad and half insulated steel cladding, built to match the surrounding industrial units.

Due to the large scale of the site, there was a call for a large holding pond to reduce the flow rate of the surface water into the natural water course, behind the units.

All services were installed to each unit including gas, electric, water, telecoms. All landscaping, roads, and external finishes are carried out to a high spec and finished by Thorn Construction.

The build was completed on time and ready for the client to sell.

Once sold the new owners of three of the units asked us to fit out the internals which included offices, meeting rooms, and canteen fully finished with décor and carpets. The three units were also knocked through from one to the other so all became joined as one.

Another great project was carried out by the Thorn Construction team.

Public Construction Project

Thorn Construction was contracted by Balcarras School to complete an extension to the existing school to create a new classroom and 4 additional multi-use rooms. The school building project took just 12 weeks from beginning to completion and included all fixtures and fittings.
